Exhibition Report from Sibos Frankfurt
~Building on our domestic implementation record with SurFIN, we will accelerate our global expansion~
BIPROGY exhibited at “Sibos Frankfurt (Note 1),” a leading global financial event hosted by Swift (Note 2), held in Frankfurt, Germany. At our booth (Note 3), we showcased SurFIN, our workflow solution for cross-border payment processing, and highlighted its potential for global expansion.
At the “Enabler User Group,” a networking session for companies accredited by Swift Platform Partnership Programme, we participated as a panelist and presented a case study on the implementation of Swift APIs in SurFIN.
Additionally, at the “Exhibitor Stage,” a presentation session for exhibiting companies, we gave a talk on Japan’s STP practices for cross-border payments.
As a result of these efforts, we were able to engage in discussions with many companies during Sibos, gaining insights into the status of ISO20022 adoption overseas and strengthening relationships with other Swift partner firms.

Current Status of SurFIN Implementation in Japan and Future Global Expansion
BIPROGY has provided SurFIN to 40 financial institutions in Japan, successfully supporting their transition to ISO20022 and enabling smooth operations. SurFIN has been highly evaluated as a solution that allows seamless and efficient handling of complex payment rules and AML-related procedures.
Through our participation in Sibos, we learned that many financial institutions around the world still face challenges in customer channels and STP processing during the ISO20022 migration.
The G20 roadmap for enhancing cross-border payments, with a target set for 2027, outlines four key KPIs. However, due to varying regulations and system environments across countries, achieving these goals remains difficult under current conditions, and technological solutions are increasingly expected.
SurFIN, as a solution capable of enabling STP for both outgoing and incoming remittances, received strong interest from international audiences. We will continue to promote SurFIN to financial institutions overseas as part of our global expansion strategy.
